Midwest Ambulance Service

Midwest Ambulance is the creation of John Offenbacker and John Plan. The idea started when they both shared an office at Whiteland Fire Department (WFD) in Whiteland, IN, in 2005. John Offenbacker was the Public Education Officer and John Plan was the Public Information Officer. They worked together to help set up policies and purchase supplies for the WFD when the department started its own transporting ambulance. Both Offenbacker and Plan talked and joked about starting their own service and trying to do it so that employees would be happier than they seem to be at the other private ambulance services in the area. In November of 2007, both Offenbacker and Plan meet and discussed how they felt would be the best way to get things moving forward. On February 25, 2008 Plan filed for incorporation and the ball started rolling. On May 8th they purchased their first truck from South Carolina. Below are the pictures from the trip to pick up the truck.
